Недавно к нам с огромным опозданием доехала коллаборация Келли и Шэрон Осборн с MAC. Часть коллекции, за которую ответственна Шэрон, меня совершенно не впечатлила, а вот Келли... Я не смогла устоять перед помадой крайне необычного светло-лилового цвета, а палетка оказалась идеально подходящей к помаде...
В общем, я от этого сочетания в восторге, хотя сначала не могла решить, идет ли мне. Будем считать, что идет)
This review may be really belated for you, but we only got Kelly and Sharon Osbourne MAC collection recently in Russia. I wasn't impressed by the Sharon part of the collection, but Kelly's one has some really nice items. I couldn't resist a unique lilac lipstick, and the palette just looked so nicely with it...
I'm in love with this combination, though I wasn't sure at first if it looks good on me. Well, let's say it does)
Палетка Bloody Brilliant состоит из трех лимитированных оттенков: Spoonful of Sugar, Tickety Boo, Fizzy Rose и одного из постоянки – Shadowy Lady.
Финиш Spoonful of Sugar – Veluxe Pearl, это блестящий бежево-серебристый оттенок. Обычный хайлайтер, но с остальными цветами сочетается хорошо.
Tickety Boo и Fizzy Rose самые лучшие в этой палетке, и именно ради них стоит ее купить. Оба оттенка атласной текстуры (Satin) Tickety Boo – необычный тауп с лиловым оттенком. Прекрасно подходит для выделения складки века и очень хорошо растушевывается. Fizzy Rose – розово-лавандовый оттенок с холодным отблеском, наименее пигментированный из палетки, но безумно красивый по цвету. Shadowy Lady – матовый серо-сиренево-коричневый оттенок. В силу финиша растушевывается слегка хуже остальных.
Эту палетку Кристин Temptalia заругала как плохо пигментированную. Я бы не сказала, что все настолько плохо. Оттенки плохо свотчатся на руке, если наносить их пальцами, но вот с нормальным нанесением кистью на веки они ложатся очень даже хорошо. Яркий макияж с ними не получится, но тем не менее, на глазах они выглядят очень красиво. Особенно мне понравился оттенок для растушевки, редко можно найти такой удачный! Легкий, дымчато-лиловый макияж с этой палеткой получается буквально за пару минут.
С базой (MAC Paint Pot) тени держатся до снятия, без базы через 6 часов начинают плавно тускнеть, при этом ни намека на скатывание.
The Bloody Brilliant palette consists of three limited shades: Spoonful of Sugar, Tickety Boo, Fizzy Rose and one permanent – Shadowy Lady.
Spoonful of Sugar has Veluxe Pearl finish and it's a shiny silver with a beige undertone. Quite an ordinary highlighter colour, but it complements the other shades in this palette nicely.
Tickety Boo and Fizzy Rose both have Satin finish and are the best colours in the palette, making it worth buying. Tickety Boo is something in between mauve and taupe and makes for a perfect crease colour. It also blends very easily. Fizzy Rose is a rosy lavender with a cool-toned sheen, the least pigmented shade of the palette, but really beautiful.
Shadowy Lady is a matte purple-toned brown. It blends slightly worse than other shades, but still well.
Christine from Temptalia reviewed this palette as badly pigmented. I wouldn't say that. The colours swatch badly when applied with fingers, but with a proper brush they apply really easily. You wouldn't be able to do a bright make-up with them, but I really love how they look on the eyes. I am especially fond of Tickety Boo, it's such a nice blending shade! You can easily do a subtle, gauzy, but still noticeable lilac-toned make-up with this palette in a couple of minutes.
The wear time without a base is around 6 hours, then the colours start to fade slightly, but without any smudging. With the base (MAC Paint Pot) they lasted until removal.
Dodgy Girl, в отличие от палетки, вещь на любителя:) Светло-лиловая матовая помада с явным холодным оттенком, одновременно и яркая, и пастельная. Я затрудняюсь сказать, какому тону кожи она подойдет. У меня оливковый, если что.
Ввиду матовости и довольно светлого оттенка это не самая идеальная по текстуре помада. На макро-фото видно, что на губах она лежит, подчеркивая неровности. На обычном расстоянии это, правда, незаметно)
Держится она долго, как и все помады из матовой серии. И губы может сушить, если есть склонность к этому. Интересный факт: после того, как помада сходит с губ, остается пигмент, но он не лиловый, а более теплого розового оттенка)
Dodgy Girl is not for everyone, unlike Bloody Brilliant. It's a light lilac matte shade, very cool-toned, at the same time bright and pastel-looking. I'm not sure which skin tone is the best for it. Mine is olive, by the way.
As it is matte and quite light, it is not the best in terms of finish. It accentuates all the creases on the lips, though it is not visible from a normal distance)
It is long-wearing as all the matte MAC lipsticks and can feel dry on the lips. An interesting fact: its pigment stains the lips, but it's not lilac. Rather more warm-toned pink)
