Dance Legend Sword of Mercy + nail art

Sword of Mercy входит в коллекцию металликов-хромов Steel. Для начала хочу сказать несколько слов о всей коллекции, т.к. текстура у лаков одинаковая: лаки получились действительно очень качественными, зеркальный эффект присутствует! Правда, не в такой степени, как у Layla Mirror Effect, Sally Hansen Color Foils или OPI Push and Shove, но все же больше, чем у многих металликов. Лаки ложатся тонкими слоями практически без полос, для плотности нужно два слоя. Как обычно, топ и база не то, чтобы не нужны, но и даже лишние) И помимо очевидных преимуществ перед аналогами – цены и географической доступности – у этой коллекции есть еще одно очень важное для многих качество: лаки держатся гораздо дольше, чем другие хромы! Если Layla и SH без топа держатся на моих ногтях сутки, лаки DL Steel держатся двое суток. По-моему, очень неплохо.
Sword of Mercy – металлик стального темно-серого цвета. Еще один плюс коллекции Steel – хороший подбор оттенков, темно-серые хромы встречаются довольно редко.

И конечно, хромы хороши для нейл-арта. Правда, для стемпинга эта коллекция не подойдет, но сколько еще интересных вариантов можно придумать) С этим лаком я сделала простой дизайн, используя NailVinyls в форме "шеврон". К сожалению, это один из тех случаев, когда дизайн смотрится очень круто в жизни, но совершенно никак на фото. Игру светотени и контраст зеркального и кремового финиша одного оттенка у меня не очень хорошо получилось передать. Кремовый лак – Color Club Muse-ical.


Sword of Mercy is one of the metallics with chrome finish from Steel collection. I'd like to say a few words about the whole collection, as all the polishes have the same formula: they turned out to be quite good, and you they indeed are chromes! Perhaps, they're not as smooth and reflective as Layla Mirror Effect, Sally Hansen Color Foils or OPI Push and Shove, but still good. They're easy to apply and the brush strokes are almost invisible. You need two coats to reach full opacity. Base and top coats are unnecessary. Apart from lower price, these chromes have one important advantage: they are more long-wearing than other chromes. While Layla and SH last only one day on my nails, these las two. Very nice, isn't it?
Sword of Mercy is a dark grey chrome. Quite a rare colour, one more good thing about this collection is the colour variety.

And of course, chromes are great for nail art. Although this collection is not suitable for stamping, there are lots of other options. I did a simple nail art using chevron NailVinyls and Color Club Muse-ical. Unfortunately, this is one the cases when a design looks really great in real life, but totally boring in photos. I couldn't quite capture the marvellous contrast between the reflective and creme finish of the same colour.
